Well?

How was everyone's Thanksgiving?

We didn't have lunch or dinner on Thursday. A had to work (so did I) and my family didn't want to have dinner without him! His family is in California (and we're in Ohio) so he's far away from those who love him. We had a great lunch with my family on Friday!

My wonderful husband decided that he was going to harass me while doing dishes (I was washing, he was rinsing) and he decided to use the sprayer... resulting in my arms being soaked the entire time. I asked him to stop about 10 times and he kept saying he wasn't doing it on purpose. HA! At one point, he DID soak my stomach with the sprayer and that's when I had it.

I flicked him in the balls, slapped his back and pushed him down on the floor.

It wasn't AS violent as it sounds, but it happened quick and my entire family was cracking up. HE DESERVED IT! I mean, I DID ask for him to knock his shit out about a million times...

I have some of his, uh... STUFF on reserve and I made sure he knew that I didn't need that left nut anyway. Hahaha.

Photographic evidence of my brutal attack on A.
Gosh, I sound like a huge asshole but seriously, this was the funniest thing that's happened to me in a week.

Almost as funny as when we went to dinner last week and my husband spilled his Arnie Palmer all over his jeans... and then an hour later, spilled Italian dressing on his coat. ALL HIS FAULT, I might add. He was being extra clumsy.

...BUT, not as funny as the first Thanksgiving he spent with my family and accidently farted at the dinner table. We all sat there and laughed until we cried.

Gosh, I am so thankful for my husband. He never fails to make me laugh.

ANNNYYWAAYYY!! I just have to get through tomorrow without bleeding (aka: my period) and I'll be a happy little camper. I'm not having ANY signs of it coming.... I want to induce that shit as fast as I can next week, anyone have any suggestions? Usually sex does it (which is why my poor husband has been without for about 3 weeks), haha.

Come on, body, work in my favor pleeeeaseeee.

Thanksgiving.

Today, I am thankful for:

1. My husband, for sticking with me through the best of times and the worst of times.

Our wedding day, April 9, 2011
2. For my best friend, because we rarely see each other but when we do, it's like it's only been a day since we've seen each other. She and I have been through MANY situations and I'm so glad that we've made it through all of them.
H & I on my wedding day!

3. My parents, because they live next door and they're always there. They are so ready to be grandparents that they are welcoming as many babies as we can have (and they're letting us use their upstairs as a baby storage room)

4. Uh.... BEING ALIVE. I celebrate every holiday big now because you never know what might happen that will stop you from celebrating the next holiday.

With that being said.... I'm going to post A and I's wedding song. You should really watch the video, it's hilarious (but the song is so sweet).

The band is called Go Radio and the song is called "Goodnight Moon" -- for our wedding, we had our close friends play and sing this song for our first dance. They did the most amazing job!

Christmas Stuff Already?

Man, I went to Walmart yesterday and they had their entire Christmas department set up. I'm seeing Christmas commercials from big companies already.. why do I feel like they're starting these earlier and earlier each year? Jeesh.

This year for Christmas, as long as our IVF medicines don't post an arm and a leg, we are planning on buying a new couch and curtains for our bedroom, kitchen and future nursery (to cover up the ugly blinds that we have). I want to get my husband something for his gifts, we usually set a budget of $100 for each other and then buy one huge gift together. Well, he already got his major gift from me in freaking September. :( A new computer monitor and a video card...$300, not $100. Not that I really care, he works hard. :) All that I want is that couch and maybe some help organizing the house. Last year, he bought me diamond earrings and clothes... But I'm way too uncomfortable with my body this year, damn Clomid!

I cannot believe this time 2009, I was bed bound and recovering from surgery. This time 2010, I was recovering from a hangover. :) We celebrated me being cancer free for DAYS!

I'm hoping since the holidays are approaching, that I can forget my TTC woes and enjoy myself. Knowing me, I'll end up being sad that we aren't sharing it with a new member of the family, or at least preparing for one. Oh well, if my January IVF works, we will have a baby (or babies) just in time for Halloween, Thanksgiving AND Christmas 2012. :)

I need to look on the bright side of things more often, it's nice not stressing/being upset.

I will say this though, the IVF medicine people BETTER call me back before 2pm like they said.
Grrr. :)!
